LAST POST
This will be my last post before I head off to the States early on Monday morning. I picked up the TRIPWIRE Superhero Special on Friday morning with Andy Colman and they look pretty great. Copies are in Gosh as of today (Saturday), as well as Forbidden Planet and Orbital in London. I think Diamond will be delivering the UK copies next week and the US should get them the week after. We'll be at Wonder Con in San Francisco from Feb 27th to March 1st so feel free to pop by the TRIPWIRE table, SP07, and come and say hello. We'll be selling the TRIPWIRE Superhero Special as well as Studio Space paperbacks and hardcovers. We also have a panel at the show on Friday 27th at 4.30pm in Room 236/238, so feel free to come and join us at that too…
I may be posting while I'm out in the US as I'm popping into LA first to visit the Heroes office to give them their copies of the Special, so feel free to keep checking here…

IN THE CITY
I've been subbing at FT Investment Adviser Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, which is in Southwark. So I've been wandering through Southwark and Borough, so here are a few photos from Southwark, Borough and a couple from Bedford Square in Bloomsbury including loads from Borough Market and at the very top, how they're trying to incorporate the remnants of Winchester Palace into a modern building…

NO MORE SUPERHEROICS
I spent most of yesterday going through the pages of the TRIPWIRE Superhero Special with Andy Grossberg sending me corrections. I didn't finish until 3.30am so I'm absolutely knackered today. But everything looks great and looking at the whole thing, you realise how packed it is: Heroes, Kick-Ass (including exclusive Mark Millar interview and John Romita Jr character sketches), Watchmen and loads more. I think it is the best issue we've done so far and I'll be seeing the finished product next Friday. We'll be selling copies of it at our table at Wonder Con in San Francisco from 27th Feb to March 1st, so if you're at the show, feel free to pop by and say hello.

A REALISATION
I've realised over the last couple of years that it's no longer good enough just to be a good journalist or editor or photographer, you have to have a grasp of lots of different skills. So the funny thing is that, because I've become quite decent with the camera, I preempted this almost by accident. The market is so competitive that you have to be able to do lots of things to stand a chance of work.

ON THIN ICE
On Wednesday I also stopped at the top of Milespit Hill in Mill Hill Village because there's a pond there and a small church. The pond had thick ice and there were still remnants of snow on the ground and, because the light was pretty decent, I thought I'd take a few photos…

GO (MILL HILL) EAST, YOUNG MAN
Because of the snow, I've not ventured out of the house since Monday morning. I have got a lot of work on the Superhero Special done though. But today, Wednesday, I went out and took the camera with me. I went to Finchley Central but I stopped briefly to take photos of the Viaduct at Mill Hill East, which leads to Mill Hill East Tube. I got some rather snazzy shots so here are soem for you. There are the last vestiges of snow but hardly any now…
